3. Suspend and subsequently discontinue a named option, MS-Mechanical Engineering, Opt: Modeling and Simulation in Mechanical Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering. Admission will be suspended effective spring 2027 with the discontinuation effective fall 2028. Action pending approval by the Graduate Faculty Executive Committee (GFEC), 12 December 2025.
4. Suspend and subsequently discontinue a capstone certificate program, Capstone Certificate in Spanish-English Bilingual-Bicultural Education, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, School of Education. Admission will be suspended effective spring 2026 with the discontinuation effective fall 2026. Action pending approval by GFEC, 12 December 2025.
5. Suspend and subsequently discontinue undergraduate honors from a school/college, School of Human Ecology Honors, School of Human Ecology. Admission will be suspended effective Fall 2026 with the discontinuation effective Fall 2027.

Suspend and subsequently discontinue a degree/major and associated named options, AuD-Audiology Consortial Program with UW-Stevens Point, Opt: Collaborative Program at UW-Madison, Opt: Collaborative Program at Stevens Point, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, College of Letters & Science. For the degree program and named options, admission will be suspended effective fall 2027 with the discontinuation effective fall 2030. Action pending approval by GFEC, 12 December 2025.
8. Establish a new academic department, Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, effective Summer 2026.
9. Establish a new center/institute, Wisconsin Quantum Institute, College of Letters & Science, effective spring 2026.
